DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING AT HOME BEFORE I WAX?

Hydrate! Make sure you are hydrating yourself throughout the days prior to your appointment. We also suggest exfoliating the day before to remove dead skin cells. Showering before your appointment is a great idea because clean skin lessens the likelihood of bacteria settling into the open pores after your wax. We pre-cleanse the area for this reason, so if you don’t have time, no worries!

DOES WAXING HURT?

The level of discomfort is specific to each person. At EVE Waxing Studio, we strive to be the best, so we have personally formulated our own wax for optimal comfort. In other words, our wax will grip your hair, not your skin. This makes it less-painful and easier to attain the cleanest results. For very sensitive skin, we suggest taking a pain reliever 20 minutes before your appointment if you feel it will help!

HOW LONG SHOULD MY HAIR BE?

Your hair needs to be a quarter of an inch or long enough to pinch! We normally say “about the length of a grain of rice”.

CAN I WAX DURING MY MENSTRUAL CYCLE?

Of course! For your convenience, we always have towelettes and tampons available for your use. Just be aware that some may experience a slight increase in discomfort due to the hormonal influx you are experiencing.

I'M PREGNANT, CAN I STILL WAX?

Congratulations! And yes, you can. We have had many clients who waxed up until their due date! You may experience an increase in sensitivity due to hormonal changes, and should always ask your doctor to be sure you have the all clear.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WAX?

We generally suggest waxing every four weeks. Depending on your hair growth rate and how long you have been waxing. You’ll get a feel for your best waxing schedule after your third wax.

THE EVE GUARANTEE

The EVE Guarantee was established to further our commitment to provide the best waxing service to all who walk through our doors. Sometimes we are not able to remove all the hair due to shaving, uneven hair growth or unforeseen circumstances, if this has happened, we encourage you come back within 3 days after your service for a touch up to remove any hair that was not removed during your appointment.

Early Cancellation

Cancellation can only be done online or by phone. Cancellation CAN NOT be done via text message or any social media communication tool. To cancel, please call our number 713-930-0511 or go Online. If this is a late cancellation please read the next policy below :-)

LATE CANCELLATION | NO SHOW POLICY

If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you give us 24-hours advance notice. If you cancel 24-hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the full service price of all appointments booked. Same day cancellations and no call/no shows will be charged 100% of the full service price of all appointments booked. After 2 no calls/no shows or 2 cancellations in less than 7 days, you no longer can schedule an appointment online and you will be accepted as a walk-in. As a courtesy, we attempt to confirm all appointments via, text, and/or email. You are invited to contact us prior to your appointment to confirm exact times, services, and ask any questions you may have.

IF YOUR RUNNING LATE

If you are concerned you may be a little late for your appointment, please don’t hesitate to call us! In most cases we allow a 5 minute grace period. However, if you are more than 5 minutes late we may have to reschedule you for a different time so as not to interfere with other appointments. When in doubt, just give us a call and we’ll see what we can do! *We ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment and no later than the scheduled time.

AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY

Studio guest must be 18 years of age or older to receive private services without the approval or accompaniment of an adult

CC POLICY

In order to hold any appointment, you must provide a valid credit or debit card to place on file. Don’t worry! You will not be charged at the time of booking. If you don’t feel comfortable having a card on file, no problem!

DEPOSITS

A deposit is only required for certain services. If your service or services require 50 minutes or longer, you will be asked to place a deposit of 50% of the total amount due (before any discounts are applied) at the time of booking. This deposit is applied to your services. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel less than 24-hours before your appointment or if you no-show. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be fully refunded. This policy is in consideration of the valued time of both our wonderful guests and our talented technicians.
